What is the XT4 designed for?
It's built for adventurous outdoor exploration and rural work, pushing outdoor boundaries further than a standard powerchair with true 4x4 off-road capability.
How is the XT4 different from the Extreme X8?
The XT4 builds on Magic Mobility's off-road experience with even greater stability, range, comfort, and control, thanks to patented front and rear suspension, unique servo-powered steering, and higher-capacity batteries.
How much power does the XT4 have?
Each of its four knobby off-road tyres is driven by its own high-efficiency, high-torque 700W motor, letting you power through mud, sand, snow, curbs, and obstacles with confidence.
How far can I travel on a single charge?
The XT4 comes standard with two massive 115Ah batteries, designed to take you further off-road than ever before.
How fast does it go?
Top speed is 10 km/h (6.2 mph), reducing to 5 km/h (3.1 mph) when the seat is fully elevated.
How does the suspension improve the ride?
Front and rear wheels sit on independently pivoting arms that follow the terrain's contours, keeping all four wheels grounded for more traction, a smoother ride, and greater stability across extreme off-road conditions.
What makes the steering different?
The XT4 combines differential wheel speeds with an industry-leading servo steering module. Even on slippery or low-traction surfaces, the joystick-controlled steering delivers reliable, responsive control in forward and reverse.
What colour options are available?
Choose from two vibrant colours or sleek Midnight Black. Body panels are aerodynamically styled, injection-molded, and easily detachable for maintenance or replacement.
Can it go in water?
No. The XT4 has an IP54 motor rating (splash-resistant, not waterproof) and must never be driven through water, rivers, creeks, or the sea.
Is the XT4 crash tested for vehicle transit?
Yes. It's compliant with crash-test tie-down standards and meets Australian Standards 3696 and ISO 7176.
Where is the XT4 made?
It's proudly designed, engineered, and manufactured in Melbourne, Australia, where Magic Mobility has built all-terrain powerchairs since 1994.
Is the XT4 available where I live?
It's currently available for trial in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Canada, with global launch rolling out from April 2025 — check the Magic Mobility website for updates in your region.
