What makes the Rollator King different from a standard rollator?
It’s reinforced for bariatric users and supports up to 325 kg, yet the frame weighs only 15.7 kg. The design is lightweight and discreet rather than bulky.
What does the 710 mm width mean?
The space between the handles is 710 mm, and the rollator is 840 mm wide overall. This gives the user more room to walk inside the frame. Check doorway widths at home before ordering, and your OT or physiotherapist can confirm the fit.
How does the seat support a larger user?
The seat is 510 mm wide with a back arch. The arch helps stop the user’s weight from shifting too far back when they sit, which adds comfort and safety. Always lock the brakes before sitting.
How do the brakes work?
The hand brakes are feather-touch, so they’re highly responsive and easy to squeeze. For bariatric rollators, brake performance is the critical point, and this is where the King puts its focus.
What are the wheels like?
Four 200 mm (8") wheels with sturdy forks give a smoother drive and safer handling. Handle height adjusts from 775 to 990 mm.
Does it fold, and does it come with a basket?
Yes to both. Lift the seat to fold it for transport and storage, and the folded width is 740 mm. A basket is attached for shopping and personal belongings, and reflectors are fitted to the handles for visibility.
How do I get one?
We recommend having the right rollator chosen and fitted by an OT or physiotherapist. We work with NDIS, DVA, Support at Home and private funding, and we’ll guide you and your clinician if funding isn’t sorted yet. We deliver across the Central Coast.
