If you've found a mobility shop you trust, or you want to try equipment before buying, your provider should work with you to make that happen.
If you're not happy with how your equipment needs are being handled, you have the right to raise concerns.
The law protects you from being treated differently for speaking up.
Simply let your plan manager or provider know which mobility shop you'd like to use. If you have a quote for a walker, wheelchair, or other equipment, share it with them.
In most cases, your choice should be accommodated as long as the pricing is reasonable.

Most providers want to support your choices.
If they say you can't use your preferred mobility equipment supplier, ask them to explain why in writing.
