The Jay X2 is the lightweight wheelchair cushion to provide firmness and pressure relief to active clients. The soft foam base allows the client to sit at the front of the cushion comfortably.
The Jay X2 Wheelchair Cushion is commonly suitable for clients who:
- Have moderate to high risk of skin breakdown
- Are able to shift weight or reposition independently
- Have moderate positioning needs
- Needs to be in a wheelchair for extended periods of time
- Requires lower profile cushions
- Requires flat surface under thighs
Features:
- Non-contoured with high resiliency foam to enhance pelvic position that improves posture and protects skin
- Has a rear coccyx notch that reduces peak pressures that reduces the risk of skin breakdown over coccyx bone
- Inner cover with Aquaguard and anti-wicking thread that protects foam from moisture build up and is easy to clean which helps with incontinence management and also reduces risk of skin breakdowns for active clients
- Outer cover would be stretch cover with zipper closure to reduce surface tension and protects foam from moisture build up that promotes proper immersion
