The truly portable Freedom Chair DEO8 is among the lightest and most practical lightweight power chairs in the market, with an easily detachable system that allows the user or carer to split the chair into two sections for even easier lifting, loading and unloading (heaviest part 14kg).

The Freedom Chair Power Chair’s sturdy aluminium frame is ultra light and folds and unfolds in seconds, saving the user the burden of repetitive time and effort when setting it up or packing it away. Its suspension system provides a smooth ride with a load allowance of 160kg and it's fitted with a robust wheel base and a strong two motor drive train that powers each rear wheel independently. The Freedom Chair Power Chair climbs smoothly up and down steep inclines, as well as handling well over even and uneven surfaces.

Another truly great feature of the Freedom Chair Power Chair is the built in compartments that allow for two extra lithium batteries to be fitted for a power pack of up to three batteries.
Besides extending battery longevity, it also makes the Freedom Chair a true long distance roller (40km) and fit for power intensive use. These batteries are easily removed and can be charged on or off the chair (ie. only batteries need to be taken out of the car and into the house for charging).
